Ciao Famiglia Eataly,

I am Susana Capra, a Los Angeles native and the daughter of Italian immigrants. I have always loved experiencing the magic of Eataly, the food, the drinks and the cannoli. The environment is truly reminiscent of the best of Italy and it is easy to see why you gain customers for life.

I am applying for the Marketing Manager position. I have spent the past 13 years in a collaborative and creative marketing environment, working in social media, design and content creation. As a Marketing Associate and Director of Marketing in both educational and corporate settings, I have built my skill set in social strategy, content development, paid campaigns, marketing strategy, brand awareness and engagement. I created my own content creation company 10 years ago creating captivating content that includes videos, stories, graphics and photos. In order to create this content I have had to coordinate large scale projects that include clients, artists, vendors as well as athletes or celebrities.

I work collaboratively with Marketing departments, clients and teams to create necessary content for websites, print and digital ads, on-site signage and digital newsletters. I have had the opportunity to coordinate projects for a diverse group of clients, including AEG, L.A. Live, Nike Basketball, Stone Brewing, Google, ABC, Regal Cinemas and sports teams like LA Galaxy, LA Clippers and the LA Kings. I have worked with many chefs, local restaurants and planned many local food events. As a Marketing Associate and Director, I have become extremely familiar with the various components that create a successful brand.

I am very familiar with managing all day-to-day needs, such as social media campaigns and event planning, that drive community engagement and sales. I understand the need for interesting visual content, engaging events and new client experiences that transform into sales. I also understand the need to comply with company culture, abide by company brand guidelines and utilize assets sent from corporate. I thrive when creating new concepts and innovative plans. I love high paced environments and truly enjoy leading and motivating a team. I know the value of collaborating interdepartmentally to plan and promote events and classes.

I am looking to take the next step in my career and begin working for an amazing company like Eataly. I am confident in my ability, a self-starter and resolute in my decision-making. Building great relationships and partnerships is always at the top of my list in any job. I am also familiar with the Italian culture, the language and I am very PROUD to be Italian. I know I can be a great asset and I would love the opportunity to be a part of the Eataly family.
